How Can I Make Myself More Creative?

Hmm!! here are 10 Easy Ways To Be Creative Everyday

Keep A Creative Journal

Journaling helps the mind to stay active. Start by making journaling as a daily routine. Spend a few minutes each day to journal about yourself. It can be about your feelings or about how did you spend your day. You can also journal about the things you love, the places you have seen, the people you have met or the food you have tasted. A quotes journal can be something creative to do too.

Journaling will help you to connect with your inner senses. It helps the mind to stay active and be more alert to your surroundings and your feelings. I feel that journaling is some sort of brain exercise. The more active your brain gets the more creative you become.

Bring Along A Small Notebook

Have you noticed that creative ideas usually flow when you are out and about or while you are busy with your household chores? That is why bringing a small notebook along with you is always handy.

Why let those fresh creative ideas go to waste, just jot them all down in your notebook. If you don’t like carrying a notebook around then your smartphone is a good replacement. Just save every fresh idea on your phone and then when you badly need a new idea, just scroll and look for it.

Make A Creative Corner

Find a space where you can sit and get creative. While you are having an ‘idea blocked’, organize a space and make it your creative corner. Decorate that space with your handmade projects or with things that you love.

Your ‘Creative Corner’ would be your special space for brainstorming fresh ideas or for journaling. If you like drawing, colouring or even paper crafting, that space is for you to get your hands busy on a new project.

Only use that space when you are trying to get creative. This will help to train your mind that whenever you are at your ‘creative corner’ than your mind will have to go on a creative mode.

Take Snapshots And Edit Those Photos

If you are lost for fresh ideas, grab your camera or smartphone and start taking photos randomly. You can even set a theme, say for example flowers. Take as many photos of flowers as you can. Not necessary fresh flowers, you can even take photos of artificial flowers or anything associated with the word flower. Take photos from every different angle.

Taking random photographs is also a good way to train your brain to be creative. You can even edit those photos and that is an art of creativity as well.

Try Something New

To be creative, you have to try new things. Spend some time to watch a random video tutorial and then try to make it yourself. Don’t follow every step exactly instead try to improvise. You might not make something great the first time but hey you just learned something new and that is already an achievement.

You can also try out a new recipe or try making a handmade card. Creativity comes in many forms, it is not only drawing, painting or brainstorming for ideas. Look around you for some fun activity and go give that activity a try.
